Hollywoods Hatmaker

Baron Craftsmanship + Legacy

Baron Hats was founded by the equally legendary Eddy Baron, who honed his craft while working at some of the biggest studios in Hollywood during the “Golden Age”.

Mr. Baron opened his own studio in Burbank, and it instantly became one of the most respected and sought after hat making studios in the world.

Some twenty-five years ago he took in an apprentice, Mark Mejia, who so impressed Eddy with his skill and passion for hat making, that when Eddy finally decided to retire, he sold the company to Mark, who has continued to keep the legend and the craftsmanship alive ever since.

Many of Baron’s hats have become as famous as the Indiana Jones Fedora Hat stars themselves. Perhaps most notable is the classic brown fedora worn by Harrison Ford in “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”.

Baron has been the preferred hat maker for countless screen legends including John Wayne, Marlon Brando, Fred Astaire, Steve McQueen and Frank Sinatra. They continue to attract the superstar crowd, and their recent clientele now includes such notables as Johnny Depp, Bruce Willis, Val Kilmer, Robert De Niro, Tommy Lee Jones, Danny DeVito, Jeff Bridges, Josh Brolin, Robert Duvall, Shia LeBouef, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Russell Crowe, Diane Keaton, Andy Garcia, and Will Smith.
