The road through the development of Jazz continues to be a rollicking, rolling, riotous, righteous, revolutionary journey. From Dixieland, to Big Band, to Swing, to Be-Bop, to Latin, to Hip-Hop, to Funk, to Fusion. It wanders through the primordial ooze of this never-end melodic odyssey, continually evolving. And along each evolutionary step, Jazz seems to produce not only new and exciting sounds... but also a hat to celebrate each new musical milestone!

One of its most recent incarnations is this super cool stingy-brim topper which has inspired us to create the "Fusion" for our Jazz Series of hats. Born from the urban streets of Chicago and Philadelphia, this funk-scathat shouts a new Jazz sound, and a new Jazz energy.

The "Fusion" is crafted in specially woven "Parasisol" straw and then custom dyed in our studio in our own "Round Midnight" color. It  also comes with a custom made grosgrain three-strip center-gray hatband finished with a deep-finger-cross bowing, our exclusive "touche de satin" fabric sweatband, our special Lifetime Guarantee, and a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity.


The "Fusion" can also be ordered through our special FlexPay payment plan. There is no interest or service fee, and your hat goes into production just as soon as we receive your first payment.

Honestly, the "Fusion" is not for everyone. You can't fake cool. You can't learn it, and you can't buy it. You're born with it. "Cool" comes in all colors, from all religions, creeds, sexes (in fact, "cool cat" originally meant a "hip chick"), from all countries... anyone can be born cool. As with all our hats in the Jazz Series, the "Fusion” is made in our own studio in Burbank, California, under the strict supervision of Master Hat Maker and Owner, Mark Mejia, and is specially priced for the truly cool in all of us.
